Maternal Care Analyst

Job Summary and Qualifications
Ensure that the maternal care program is aligned with state, regulatory, governing body, professional organization, and established best practices with emphasis on identification of opportunities for improvement, associated action planning and follow-up, and program development.
What qualifications you will need:
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing, Bachelor’s degree nursing program (BSN) required
Experience: 3+ years of high risk L&D bedside experience required
Competencies:
Expertise in intrapartum fetal and maternal assessment
Proficiency in data management
Ability to work independently and function as a part of an interdisciplinary perinatal team to continuously improve the process to enhance patient outcomes
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Participation in committees related to perinatal care
Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required:
Required:
Current RN license in the state of Texas or current multi-state RN compact license. Employees with RN compact license status are required to obtain a Texas RN license within 60-days of hire.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
NRP required
RNC-OB within 1 year of hire
ACLS (AHA or ARC) required
